Give the deck to a friend and ask them to divide it into four piles. Keep an eye on the pile with all the aces. These should be placed at one end of each pile. Then say, “Let’s name the stacks A-B, C, D.” Make sure that D is the pile with the aces. You can point to each stack with your finger as you say the trick to make it more complicated.
